Our Approach
In Tagalog (the official language of the Philippines), kabayan means “fellow countryman.” And so, we welcome you to experience the culture of our fellow countrymen and women who will welcome you like family. It is a culture of community, and cooperation.
The Filipino word bayanihan is well-known throughout all the regions of the Philippines, and describes the giving nature of the Filipino people. It means, “to give without asking for anything in return.” And so, our approach is to bring the spirit of bayanihan to our fellow Pensacola community so that they may experience the friendly and hospitable nature of our island nation.
